AE200 Aerofugia model has electric motor can reach 248 km/he will be used for urban mobility in chengdu
The Chinese Airofugia company will put its “flying electric car” in operation next year. The AE200 model has battery that ensures a 200 km autonomy and vertical takeoff capacity. The vehicle can reach a top speed of 248 km/h.
The idea is that the “flying car” will be used for urban trips, such as an airline expressed for the airport, air taxi, emergency rescues and tourist use to see the city’s view. Operations will start in Chengdu and can be expanded to the rest of China in the future.
The AE200 has a capacity of 1 pilot and 5 more passengers. The model is 9 meters long and 15 meters of wingspan (from the tip of one wing to another). The cabin has a technology to limit exterior sound to up to 50 decibels (level of normal conversation between people).
Aerofugu was founded in 2020 in Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan province. The city is an important technological hub in China and houses several automotive and technology companies in the country.

The aerofugia model will be launched the same year as Embraer’s subsidiary – plans to put its 1st EVTOL, the electric takeoff and Brazilian vertical landing vehicle.
The Brazilian model has half the autonomy of AE200 –100 km – and houses 4 passengers besides the pilot.
Last year, Eve do Evtol. According to the company, about 2,900 units of Evtol have already been ordered.
The first deliveries and the beginning of the EVE factory in Taubaté, interior of São Paulo, are scheduled for 2026.
