Government decides to ban a section of Getúlio Vargas Avenue with Ceará during the weekend; understand

Taking advantage of the characteristic period of drought of Amazonian summer, the Acre government is intensifying the works in the works of the Avenida Ceará Road in Rio Branco. The action is coordinated by the State Secretariat of Public Works (SEOP) and aims to speed up the execution of the structure, taking advantage of favorable weather conditions.

For this, from 20h this Friday (13), until midnight on Sunday (15), there will be a total interdiction of two straps of the future viaduct, located on Avenida Ceará. The measure was defined in conjunction with the City of Rio Branco, through the Municipal Superintendence of Transport and Traffic (RBTrans), in order to ensure the safety and fluidity of interventions.

The interdiction will cover four clues: two in the center-bairro direction, between the Acrejet store (in cross with Rua Ipase) and the State Department of Government (Segov), and two in the neighborhood-center direction, between the application college and the old parking lot of Mira Shopping.

According to the Secretary of Public Works, Ítalo Lopes, all stages of the project are being planned to minimize the impacts on traffic. “Governor Gladson Cameli has reinforced the importance of playing this work with the lowest possible inconvenience for the population. Each phase follows a carefully elaborated schedule with the City Hall. There is a constant alignment between technicians, managers and administrative teams to ensure that work advances efficiently,” he said.

During the interdiction period, the works will focus on the completion of the stabilization of the Foundation of Handle 2 and the preparation of Handle 1, with the installation of siding and other temporary structures required. The simultaneous advance of these fronts will allow to accelerate the construction of the viaduct.

On Monday (16), with the completion of interventions in Handle 2, the interdiction is partial again. The teams will begin the excavations for the relegation of the road, a crucial stage for the continuity of the viaduct work.
