The humorist Léo Lins42, who was sentenced to the court for eight years and three months in prison for prejudiced jokes, used social networks to comment on the criticism he received in recent days and spoke mainly about the presenter’s comments Marcos Mion45.
In a series of publications, Lins emphasized that. The host of TV Globo had written on his Instagram profile that Disagree with the comedian, especially when he base his presentations on prejudiced discourses.
“I wrote that I disagree and do not respect what he does. I already said that fighting with him on the net. When he does not do that kind of humor, he has a lot of creativity!”
“They are attacking Marcos Mion thinking he defended me. I came here to clarify: Mion was never by my side. He defended freedom of expression. Then militancy tightened, he cursed me and defended the contract with the brands,” said Leo Lins, also in Instagram publication.
The convict continued to criticize his former colleague, using profanity. Still, he talked about Mion’s son, Romeo, who is autistic.
“Another thing: I never talked about your child. You know what happened, we talked privately, when they even threatened my parents. I told you that I am against this aggressive coercion militancy. Maybe you forgot … by suggesting that someone will punch me in my mouth.
“For my part I never had problems with you nor was going to say anything. You were a kind guy when we worked together. But it started to hit me publicly, it was no longer one, no two, no three … You were a personality guy,” he concluded.
That Lins is an excellent humorist, although he doesn’t like it and doesn’t respect the kind of humor he chose to do.
“At no time did I say that these absurdities are his genius […] Censorship is never good and that motivated my manifestation. What I defended, “explained the presenter.
