National President of, Federal Deputy Baleia Rossi (SP) says that the Lula government has to set an example in the debate on the improvement of public spending and the cut of superfluous expenses.
The party, however, does not intend for now to close a question about the measures announced by Minister Fernando Haddad (farm) of tax increases,
“Historically, the MDB has a position against tax increases. We will deepen this debate about the proposals. I understand that there is a lack of debate on the quality of public spending and senior spending cuts. The government has to set an example,” says Whale.
Haddad’s proposals include an increase in BETS taxation, cutting tax benefits and end of the exemption of financial instruments such as LCA and LCI.
