The Acre Civil Police identified a suspect of involvement in the poisoning of two 13 and 27-year-old sisters, who got sick after consuming a hot dog sauce prepared at home last Sunday (8), in Vila do V, Porto Acre municipality.

Delegate Leonardo Neves, responsible for the inquiry, confirmed on Wednesday (12) that there is a suspect of the crime, but avoided publicizing the name or kinship of the investigated with the victims.
“Yes, there is this suspicion, but The exams have to prove that this is what happened. We are investigating, the mother moved home to another place, took the daughters from the scene. Everyone who is close to the facts will be heard, ”the delegate confirmed in an interview with G1 Acre.
The victims began to get sick shortly after the meal and were rescued by the family to Sobral’s Emergency Care Unit (UPA) in Rio Branco. During medical attention, the suspected raticidal poisoning was raised. The doctor applied an antidote and the two presented clinical improvement.
Given the severity of the case, the medical team called the Military Police and health surveillance, which referred patients to the capital’s emergency room for more intensive care.
On Monday (9), the 13-year-old was discharged. Already the older sister, 27, remains hospitalized under observation, with stable condition.
The Civil Police continues to listen to witnesses and awaiting the expert reports of the food collected at the residence, which can confirm the presence of the poison used. The case is treated as an attempted murder.
