A Rio Book Biennial It starts this Friday (13) in Riocentro, West Zone of the capital of Rio de Janeiro. The event, which runs until June 22, gathers several renowned authors of national and international literature.
With over 300 participants, the shape of this book biennial will be slightly different from the previous ones, with the proposal to create one, with giant wheel, immersive mazes, karaoke and other attractions inspired by literary works.
Among the national highlights, are Raphael Montes, Jeferson Tenório, Conceição Evaristo, Aline Bei, Marcelo Rubens Paiva, Ailton Krenak, Drauzio Varella, Pedro Bial,, Lazarus Ramos and more.
International names also have heavy guests: Nigerian Adichiewhich comes to publicize his new book “The Dream Contagem”; the American Lynn Painterknown for his romance books, as “better than in movies”; The Cuban writer Teresa Cárdenasauthor of “letters to my mother” and “old dog”; The South Korean Kim Ho-Yonwriter of “the inconvenient convenience store”; The British author recognized for her police novels Cara Hunter; the American G. T. Karberresponsible for writing; between others.
