The Senate dispute in 2026 may oppose former President () to the former first lady (PL), given the pressure of Bolsonarists for the approval of the impeachment of ministers of the (Federal Supreme Court) in the house.
With Michelle considered a favorite for the position, three other right-wing field candidates claim the second vacancy that will be in dispute: the Governor of the Federal District, (), federal deputy Bia Kicis (PL-DF) and retired judge Sebastião Coelho.
