According to research, catnip is a more effective tick agent than repeaters from DEET. All because it contains nepetalactone, i.e. a substance intolerated by these arachnids.

Therefore, we can plant this plant in the garden or make it effective spraying. How to prepare it?

At the beginning, pour hot water to several dried cat leaves. We leave the prepared infusion for about 30 minutes – at this time valuable ingredients will be released into the water.

Then strain and cool the liquid. Finally, pour it into a bottle with an atomizer. We spray it every time we go to the garden or to the forest.
