A truck was mobilized on Wednesday (11) to overflow 30 thousand liters of diesel oil from the trailer that remains crossed on BR-364, near the Liberdade River, in Cruzeiro do Sul. The vehicle has been blocking the federal highway since Tuesday night (10), causing inconvenience in the region’s traffic.

According to the National Department of Transport Infrastructure (DNIT), after the emptying of the tank, a backhoe machine will be used to try to remove the trailer and release the track for the passage of vehicles. Also according to the agency, an earlier attempt to remove the vehicle with the aid of a backhoe was unsuccessful.
The superintendent of the Dnit in Acre, Ricardo Araújo, said that the stretch where the incident occurred is Macadame and has no holes, discarding the road failures as the cause of the accident. “He [o motorista] He made a wrong maneuver and it all happened. The driver is changed there, ”he said.
According to preliminary information, a person was arrested on the spot, but the circumstances of the detention have not yet been detailed by the authorities.
