Valentine's Day: Embassy of France publishes photo by Lula and Macron

The Embassy of France in Brazil took advantage of the romantic climate of Valentine’s Day to publish, on Wednesday (12/6), a photo of President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva (PT) and French leader Emmanuel Macron, embracked in Paris.

The record was made during Lula’s first state visit to France since the beginning of his third term. He was received by Macron in Paris on June 5, in return for a visit by the French President to Brazil in March 2024. At the time, the two leaders were together in the Amazon, participated in official events in Brasilia and signed bilateral agreements in the areas of environmental, education and energy transition.

The post, which celebrates the date in a good mood, reinforces the tone of proximity between the two, often described by the national press as protagonists of a diplomatic bromance – word of English used to describe an intense friendship between two men, marked by strong camaraderie.
