The former president () joked with the minister of (Supreme Federal Court) during a statement on Tuesday afternoon (10) and invited him to be his deputy in the 2026 election.
The joke was made shortly after the former president claims that he could send to the magistrate images of how the people welcome him well in acts on the street. “Decline,” said Moraes.
Then Bolsonaro asked, “Could you make a joke?”
“I would ask my lawyer,” he said, laughing, Moraes.
“I would like to invite you to be my deputy in 2026,” said Bolsonaro, who is ineligible until 2030, after two convictions of the TSE (Superior Electoral Court). Moraes replied, “I decline again.”
Bolsonaro’s testimony began at 2:33 pm and took about two hours. He took a copy of the Constitution to the testimony table and raised him as he spoke about not having attacking democracy.
The former president also said that he was not the only one to criticize the electronic ballot boxes. He said he had used rhetoric against the electronic voting system since 2012.
In the presidency, it caused crises between the powers, and stimulated with lies and yields a campaign to discredit the country’s electoral system.

The PGR accuses him of being the leader of the criminal organization who tried to give a coup after the election of Lula (PT) to the Presidency of the Republic.
