The far right -wing Member of the European Parliament (EP) Grzegorz Braun received on Wednesday ban on entering Sejmathe Lower Chamber of the Polish Parliament. The reason is the damage to the LGBT community rights exhibitioninforms TASR according to the report of the agency PAP. The images published on social networks can see how Braun destroys the exhibition information panels right in front of the Parliamentary Guard and Security cameras.
Szymon Holownia, chairman of Szymon Holownia, announced that Braun’s entry of Parliament’s premises will be banned. “I informed the commander (parliamentary guards) Michal Sadon that I am issuing a formal instruction prohibiting Braun’s entry into Sejma or any space under the jurisdiction of the Office of Sejm,” stated Tug before journalists.
At the same time announced changes in security rulesthat enable parliamentary guardian to intervene physically not only in the case of a threat to other persons, but also in cases of deliberate destruction of property.
Minister of Foreign Affairs Radoslaw also responded to the incident Sikorski. On the social network X wrote: “As a former chairman of Sejma, I do not understand why the parliamentary security again did not restore MEP Braun directly at the act of damaging private property.”
