Although today’s curdled milk is a relic of the past for many, it was once a daily element of summer meals. It arises in a natural way – only from fresh milk, which fermented at room temperature. They make curdled milk It affects the intestinal work well, supports digestion and helps maintain the proper condition of the intestinal microflora (especially after the disease or antibiotic treatment). Interestingly, it contains less lactose than fresh milk, so it can be better taken by people with its intolerance. The drink has a soothing on the stomach and does not cause abdominal sluggage. It also perfectly quenches thirst and irrigates in hot weather. In addition, the drink shows anti -inflammatory effect and reduces too high cholesterol – reduces the risk of heart disease.

In this light dinner, which can certainly be considered Polish Comfort Food, dill is also healthy. It is not only a beautifully fragrant decoration, but also a treasury of valuable nutritional values. It is an anti -inflammatory plant. It greatly supports digestion and proper vision, improves circulation and is full of antioxidants, vitamin C, iron, potassium and calcium. Added to potatoes, it not only improves the taste, but also supports the health of the body.

The big advantage of a light dinner is that does not require many ingredients or long cooking. Just a few products that are available almost everywhere in the summer. However, they must be of good quality so that the dish tastes like childhood.

Young potatoes have a thin skin, are delicate and do not need many additions. Current milk cools and refreshes, and dill – gives the whole dish a summer aroma. If you want the dish to be more filling (but not completely healthy), you can add a little fried bacon to it. Remember, however, that only from time to time it is worth trying this high -calorie add -on.

Ingredients (for 2 portions):

  • 600 g of young potatoes,
  • a bunch of fresh dill,
  • 2 cups of curd
  • salt to taste,
  • Possibly: a spoon of butter.

Method of performance:

Young potatoes have a thin skin, so they do not require peeling. However, they need to be washed well and even scrub with a brush under running water.

Put the prepared vegetables into the pot, pour water, slightly salt and. Usually, about 15-25 minutes, depending on their size.

In the meantime, wash and chop fresh dill finely.

When the potatoes are soft, strain them, cross them and transfer to a plate. Optionally, smear with a little butter and sprinkle generously with dill.

Serve curds separately in a glass, it should necessarily be chilled in the fridge. Most often they are sipped, but – if you like – curdled milk you can simply pour potatoes with greens. A quick and light dinner for the summer is ready.
