A flight from Air India Company that went from Phuket to Nova Delhi had to return to the Thai tourist island due to a bomb threat, the company that manages the main airports in Thailand said on Friday.
Flight AI379 requested permission to return to the track after the discovery of a threatening message on board, the Thailand Aeroportos (AOT) said on the Facebook page of Phuket airport.
The Airbus A320 plane, which took off at 9:30 am (11:30 pm Brasilia, Thursday), returned to Phuket two hours later, after going around the Andaman Sea, according to the FlightTar24 monitoring site.

The 156 aircraft passengers were removed following the emergency protocol, AOT said without more details.
