Aviation teams found one of the two black boxes of the Which fell on Thursday (12), shortly after taking off from Ahmedabad airport in northwestern India, bound for London, a police authority said on Friday (13). “Teams from the Civil Aviation Directorate of India have recovered a black box at the catastrophe site,” the authority told AFP on anonymous condition.
This Friday, rescuers with sniffer dogs searched the site of the tragedy, which killed 265 people, including victims on soil in a residential area. A man aboard the Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner, who was carrying 242 passengers, survived miraculously to the accident, in which the aircraft’s tail was trapped on the second floor of an accommodation for the medical team of a nearby hospital.
