Israel is closing its embassies around the world and asked citizens to remain alert and do not display Jewish or Israeli symbols in public places, according to statements published on embassies on Friday after Israel launched attacks on a large scale against Iran.

The statements stated that Israel would not provide consular services and instituted citizens to cooperate with local security services if they faced hostile activities.

It was not informed the closing period of the embassies. A person who answered the phone at the embassy in Berlin gave no more details.

“In view of recent events, Israeli missions around the world will be closed and consular services will not be provided,” the statement said.

German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, who talked to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Friday, said Germany was intensifying the protection of Jewish and Israeli places.

Visible security was reinforced outside the large Stockholm synagogue with a police car and a car parked near the building, a Reuters witness said.

Previously, Israel said he attacked nuclear facilities and missile factories in Iran and killed several military commanders in what could be a prolonged operation to prevent Tehran from building an atomic weapon.

US President Donald Trump suggested that Iran had caused the attack on himself by resisting US demands in negotiations to restrict his nuclear program, and urged him to close an agreement, “with the next already planned attacks being even more brutal.”
