The arrest warrant of Lieutenant Colonel Mauro Cid, former Jair Bolsonaro (PL) orders, was revoked by Minister Alexandre de Moraes of the Supreme Court (STF), just as he was fulfilled by the Federal Police (PF), on Friday morning (13).
Federal agents were already at the Cid House, in the Urban Military Sector (SMU), in Brasilia, when the arrest warrant was annulled by Moraes. Despite the revocation, the military will be conducted to, later this Friday.
The arrest had been decreed in the context of the investigation that investigates the performance of former Tourism Minister Gilson Machado, in Recife. Machado is suspected of trying to get a Portuguese passport to Mauro Cid in May this year, with the Portuguese Consulate in the Pernambuco capital.

The alleged attempt aimed to “make it possible to exit from the national territory” of the former Bolsonaro orders, according to the Federal Police.
The case led the Attorney General, Paulo Gonet, to ask the Supreme Court to open an inquiry against Machado for crimes of investigation of investigation of criminal organization and personal favoritism.
In addition, Machado would have promoted, through his social networks, a financial collection campaign for former President Jair Bolsonaro, which also entered the radar of the authorities.

Although it has not been able to effect the issuance of the document, the Attorney General’s Office states that the risk of ax seeking alternatives in other consulates or embassies still persists. Therefore, PGR requested Moraes not only authorization for the inquiry, but also measures for searching and seizure and breach of confidentiality.
For investigators, the initiative indicates a possible attempt to obstruct the criminal action that investigates the attempted coup, in which Cid is whistleblower and Bolsonaro figures as defendant.
