Portuguese government calls for "maximum containment" in the Middle East to avoid "dangerous climbing"

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs claims to be in contact with Portuguese diplomatic missions to “ensure the protection of the Portuguese in the region”.

Portugal follows “with enormous concern” the conflict between Israel and Iran and asks for “maximum containment,” said the government, which is in contact with the diplomatic missions in the area to ensure the protection of the Portuguese.
