“It reiterates its unwavering commitment to the Biestatal solution, according to which the Gaza Strip is part of the Palestinian State and that would allow two democratic states, Israel and Palestine, to live in peace within safe and internationally recognized borders,” says the text.
The resolution was negotiated for several weeks and both the president of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, José Manuel Albares, maintained contacts at the highest level to get other countries to support the initiative.
