Three government ministers (PT) criticized on Thursday (12) the governor of Minas Gerais, (Novo), in ceremony in the municipality of Mariana, in the central region of the state.
At the event, measures were presented from the tragedy repair plan in 2015, when a Vale dam broke on the site.
The president, who spoke to the end, did not mention Zema, and has made attacks on the federal government in recent weeks.
Minister Márcio Macêdo, of the General Secretariat of the Presidency, criticized a recent interview in which the governor said that the merits of the Mariana agreement is from the state government, which made the hit for Brumadinho’s tragedy and would have served as an example.
“He is very ungrateful. He should go to TV to say ‘thanks for what you are doing for the people of Minas Gerais’. When he is talking about President Lula’s lie, he has to wash his mouth with bleach and to collect his insignificance,'” said Macêdo.
The Minister of the Civil House, Rui Costa, cited the $ 25 billion to which Minas Gerais is entitled to Mariana’s repair agreement to say that the governor has to work for the people of Minas Gerais.
“If you decrease the time you spend doing video, talking silly and eating fruit fruit, there will be more time to take care of the people of Minas,” said Rui Costa. Zema recently made video in which she ate bark banana to talk about food inflation.
Negotiated since the Bolsonaro government, Mariana’s repair agreement was signed in October last year by the Federal, Minas Gerais, Espírito Santo governments and representatives of other powers.
Approved the following month by the Supreme Court (STF), the arrangement provides R $ 100 billion paid by companies to the Union and state governments for actions aimed at municipalities and affected people.
The head of AGU (Attorney General of the Union), Jorge Messias, quoted the mining poet Adélia Prado to criticize the governor.
“It has ruler of Minas who does not know his people, does not know Adélio Prado”, in a reference to Zema’s interview in 2023 on a radio when he won a book by Adélio Prado e.
Zema said on Wednesday, in an interview with Radio Itatiaia, that she would not go to Lula’s agendas in the state and that the federal government appropriates the announcement of investments that are captured by the state government.
“First, I already had predefined, hard to change. Second, President Lula’s events in Minas have been cheerleaders. So they choose the finger who will participate. And if you are not that group, you would most likely be booed there, as you can see on other occasions,” said the governor.
The event in Mariana also served for an incentive from Lula and the ministers to the candidacy of Senator Rodrigo Pacheco (PSD-MG) to the government of Minas Gerais next year. The president even went to Pacheco as future governor, while Alexandre Silveira (Minas and Energy) and Márcio Macêdo also supported his name.
“If you cheer, Rodrigo, because this state is crazy to break free,” said Macêdo.
Lula has been publicly repeating that I would like Pacheco to be the candidate supported by him for Zema’s succession. The senator, however, has preferred to wait to make his decision and, according to interlocutors, would not have shown so far excitement for the dispute.
