A delicate tart with zucchini and nuts is a perfect dish for any occasion. It is a simple cake based on butter with velvet zucchini filling and aromatic, slightly salty goat cheese, which perfectly turns up the taste. The culmination is the addition of crunchy walnuts. The dish is not only tasty, but also looks effective on the table – it will enchant all your guests and household members.
A 20 x 30 cm form will work well for the tart preparation.
Cake:
- 180 g of wheat flour,
- 120 g of butter,
- 2 tablespoons of cold water.
Filling:
- 2 medium courgettes,
- 1 onion,
- 100 g of goat cheese,
- 2 eggs in size L or XL,
- 80 ml cream cream 36 %,
- 60 ml of milk,
- 1 handful of walnuts,
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil,
- ½ teaspoon nutmeg,
- ½ teaspoon salt,
- ½ teaspoon of black pepper.
Additionally:
parsley to sprinkle.
Prepare the cake. Cut the butter into small cubes and mix with flour and water to obtain a compact dough. Roll out the dough into a large rectangle and put it with a form lined with baking paper with dimensions of about 30×20 cm.
Prepare the filling. Whip the eggs with cream and milk. Season with salt and pepper. Set aside Heat a tablespoon of oil in a large frying pan and add chopped onion. Fry until nice vitrification and remove. Cut the zucchini into long slices. Then pour in the remaining tablespoon of olive oil and fry the vegetable until it becomes slightly golden. Season with salt and pepper.
Bake the tart. Sprinkle the bottom of the dough with flour. Arrange the onion and zucchini slices on top. Pour the egg mass and sprinkle with goat cheese and nuts. Put the dish in the oven set to 180 degrees Celsius and bake for 20-25 minutes or for nice gold. Remove the tart with zucchini and nuts. Serve warm, decorated with chopped parsley.
