Corpus Christi is one of the most important holidays in the Catholic Church. This year we will celebrate them on June 19. Multi -colored processions will set off from the temples, during which the faithful will pass through the streets of cities and villages, stopping at four altars. We will find the provision plant on them . What is it about? Check now and attract happiness and prosperity.
Almost all of us participated in the Corpus Christi procession at least once. Four altars symbolize four Gospels from the New Testament, whose authors were the apostles: Marek, Mateusz, Łukasz, Jan. In addition, they are a reminder of the four parts of the world, which shows the universality of the Catholic faith and a call to bring good news around the world.
The altars look beautiful. There are not only religious symbols, i.e. crosses, hosts and images of saints, but also flowers and birch branches. It is the latter plant that we should decorate the house so that happiness and prosperity for the next year come to it.

Birch branches are an indispensable element of Corpus Christi. Altars have been decorated with them from the dawn of history. Grandmothers always picked them up and put them for images of saints or hung over the entrance door to protect the household from evil and misfortune.
Currently, many people also take this plant home, but it is more often arranged on furniture or inserted into a vase. Its symbolism remains universal – Birch branches dedicated by the priest are to protect against evil spirits, disasters and misfortunes, and at the same time ensure happiness and prosperity.
We treat this plant as an Easter palm – keep it at home all year round. Otherwise, threads will come out of prosperity and attraction. Before the next God’s body, you need to burn old birch branches and decorate the house with new ones, also gathered from the altar.
To sum up, birch branches have magical power. Even if we are not convinced of their action, it is still worth cultivating the tradition that has been present in our homes for generations.
