Datafolha survey says 67% of respondents argue that Bolsonaro should give up his candidacy; The petista conditioned the dispute to his health
A Datafolha survey published on Saturday (14.jun.2025) points out that 57% of Brazilians believe that the president (PT) should not compete for reelection in the 2026 election. The survey also shows that 67% argue that (pl) give up running.
2,004 people were interviewed 16 years or older in 136 municipalities. The error margin is 2 percentage points, more or less.
According to Datafolha, 41% of respondents believe Lula should dispute the election, while 2% said they don’t know. Regarding Bolsonaro, in addition to the 67% who think he should leave the candidacy and support someone else, 20% said the former president should dispute the election and 4% said they did not know how to answer.
Regarding the perception of the electorate, 42% of respondents are sure that Lula will be a candidate, while 24% believe that he may be reelection. On the other hand, 28% believe that Lula will not run for presidency in 2026.
