The tension in reached a new level on Saturday (14) after threatening to attack interests from, and in the region if these countries try to prevent their retaliation against Israel. Climbing occurs after Israeli forces have a large -scale bombing against Iranian military and nuclear targets, killing dozens of people, including high -ranking military leaders and scientists involved in the nuclear program.

In response, Iran launched missiles against Israel, leaving dead and injured, and stated that military bases, diplomatic missions and naval vessels from countries supporting Israel will also be targeted. “Any interference will result in attacks on all regional bases of complicit governments, including facilities in the Persian Gulf and the Red Sea,” Tehran warned in a statement quoted by the Iranian Agency Mehr.

The United States confirmed that they acted directly on the interception of part of Iranian missiles and drones. The president stated that he had prior knowledge of Israeli attacks and declared support to the actions, praising the performance of Israel’s Armed Forces. The head of American diplomacy, warned Iran against any offensive to US troops installed in Arab countries.

France and the United Kingdom also expressed support for Israel’s defense. The French President has stated that his country will help “if he is in a position to do so,” but he reiterated that he will not participate in offensive actions. Macron criticized the Iranian nuclear program, stating that Tehran has exceeded by almost 40 times the enriched uranium limits allowed by the international community. Already the British prime Minister, said that the United Kingdom did not participate in the attack, but stressed that Israel has the right to self -defense.

The conflict has caused civilian victims on both sides. In Israel, at least three people died and more than 80 were injured in Iranian attacks. In Rishon Lezion, a missile hit a residential area. “Iran crossed the Red Line by hitting civilians,” said Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz.

In Iran, Israeli bombings caused the death of at least 78 people and left more than 320 wounds, according to the Iranian government. Among the victims are military personnel of different patents and civilians. Israel claims to have reached more than 200 targets in the Iranian territory, including nuclear facilities in Isfahan and Natanz.

Faced with the ongoing conflict, Iran has announced that it will not participate in nuclear negotiations with the United States scheduled for Sunday in Oman. “As long as the aggression of the Zionist regime lasts, it makes no sense to dialogue with the greatest supporter of the aggressor,” said Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baqaei.

Analysts fear that the conflict, already with regional proportions, evolves into a larger -scale confrontation with direct involvement of Western powers. France, the United Kingdom and Germany try to articulate a diplomatic response, but the scenario is of strong instability.
