A video published on social networks by lawyer Valber Fontenele brought out a complaint of alleged abuse of authority by a Civil Police delegate of Acre. The case would have occurred on Saturday night (12), during a birthday celebration in a luxury condominium located at the Amazon Portal, in Rio Branco.
In the report, Valber stated that the group, made up of friends and family, including children, had dinner and talking in the reserved space of the condominium when he was surprised by the arrival of eight heavily armed civil police officers under the command of a delegate identified as Judson. According to the lawyer, the delegate stated that the gifts were committing the crime of disturbance of quiet and ordered everyone to be taken to the police station without exception.

“The way it all happened deeply embarrassed us. The delegate opened the door and entered the middle of the party, armed, threatening with arrest and without considering that there were children in place. The children and the birthday girl got sick in the face of the situation,” said the lawyer in the video.
Fontenele pointed out that, in his assessment, the action was a clear excess and that judicial measures will be taken. “We will enter the judiciary, because measures of abuse of authority cannot be tolerated. We will seek all legal means to curb this kind of attitude,” he said.
The lawyer also praised the attitude of the Military Police, who would have identified that there was no crime in the place and refused to comply with the delegate’s order. “The Military Police were sensible and realized that this was an abuse. I also thank the Civil Police Office, in the person of delegate Tiago, who received us and recorded both the administrative and criminal complaint,” he added.
So far, the Acre Civil Police has not officially commented on the case. The Corregedoria must determine the facts reported in the complaint.
