A man was shot dead Friday night in Feijó in Almada. The crime was witnessed by the pregnant woman and the two daughters who identified two young people. The suspects have not yet been arrested.
It was not yet 22:00. The owner of the 44-year-old store, born in Bangladesh, was preparing to close the door.
“He closes the store at 9 pm. Yesterday he also tried to close at 9 pm when three people came here to try to enter the store. He said no, already closed, could not enter the store. They tried to enter, he said no, not enter. One of them took the pistol and killed it,” says Robin, the victim’s friend.
The pregnant woman and the two daughters under 14 will have watched the attempted robbery and the three fatal shots.
A neighbor guarantees to have seen only two young people and not three.
“I see a boy running, who fled around and the other turns and gives three shots. His wife was with her cell phone in hand, in the middle of the street, shouting to the phone, so someone helps. The woman does not speak Portuguese,” says to SIC a neighbor.
Despite INEM’s intervention, it did not resist the injuries and the death was declared on site. The investigation went into the hands of the Judicial Police.
The video surveillance chambers of this funeral home and the pharmacy in front will have captured the murder. The images are already being analyzed by PJ.
Traders and residents complain of increased crime.
