The Minister of Justice, said on Friday (13) that there is already an idea where the federal deputy (PL-SP) is in and that she will be extradited “soon”. The congressman fled to the European country after being convicted by the (Supreme Court).
Lewandowski cited, at a public security event in precedents of cooperation between the two countries, such as Cesare Battisti’s delivery to Italians, authorized in 2018. It also reiterated that the Italian does not prevent the extradition of citizens of the country.
“There is already some idea where it is and we imagine that it will soon be extradited. There are strong precedents of cooperation between these two countries, between Brazil and Italy. We have a treaty of cooperation. The double nationality, taking into account what is accountable in the treaty, does not prevent extradition,” said the minister.
The statement of the holder of the court is opposite to what in the country’s parliament. According to the Under -Secretary of the Interior, Wanda Ferro, Zambelli has not yet been located by the police investigation so far.
“Police investigations so far, and in progress, did not consent until the moment to confirm their location,” he said, who said that security forces are in contact with Brazilian authorities.
Zambelli was sentenced to 10 years in prison for invading the systems of (National Council of Justice) along with hacker Walter Delgatti Netto. She left Brazil not to be arrested after the res judicata of the action and landed at Fiumicino airport, on, on the 5th, on flight.
