Can orders predict geopolitical crises? This theory is defended by the observers of the “pizza index” who found that on Thursday night, while preparing to bomb the orders, orders were rising.
The main idea is that every time a big event involves the US, the Pentagon workers, the State Department and the White House stay in their offices until late at night. And thus increases orders, especially pizza, in Washington and its surroundings.
This theory is very popular on the internet and there are special forums in Reddit and an account on the X platform called “Pentagon Pizza Report”, with 38,000 followers. The account records when orders at a Domino’s chain store, located near the Ministry of Defense, exceed the usual level.
