In an event with Lula in Mariana (MG) last Thursday (12), Silveira stated that Brazil “needs talent, the ardent defense of democracy and the human sensitivity of Pacheco”.
He also said that the senator will still give a lot of joy to the Minas Gerais people, in reference to his possible candidacy for governor of Minas Gerais next year. Pacheco, however, resists accepting the endeavor.
In another event, in Contagem (MG), Pacheco highlighted the importance of the work done by Silveira when he opened the doors of the mayors of Minas Gerais to present his claims.
