Israeli airspace is closed with war against Iran; There are mayors, governors and other authorities in the country
The Senate Foreign Relations Commission stated on Friday (13.jun.2025) that it is in dealing with Itamaraty to make it possible to send an aircraft from the FAB (Brazilian Air Force) to Israel. The goal is to repact after and the closure of airspace.
Among Brazilians are the governor of Rondônia, (União Brasil), mayors, such as (União Brasil), from Belo Horizonte, and (PP), from João Pessoa, as well as state secretaries and representatives of the Brazil Central Consortium (which brings together Federal District, Goiás, Mato Grosso, Mato Grosso do Sul, Rondônia and Tocantins).
The official delegation of the Central Brazil Consortium is in Tel Aviv. Already the entourage of Brazilian mayors is in Kfar Saba, about 24 km from the city. Most entourage flights were canceled, and there is no forecast for Ben Gurion Airport reopening.
The Senate Commission states that it continues in contact with Itamaraty and the Brazilian Embassy in Tel Aviv.
