This crystal clear beach is 'next door' and remains a well -kept secret

There are beaches that, despite the beauty and tourist potential, continue to escape the large flows of visitors. This is one of these cases. The disclosure has been done mainly by social networks, where compliments to the landscape and clear water multiply.

Described by TripAdvisor users as a “hidden pearl”, the beach in question maintains a discreet profile, with limited access, few services and a practically untouched natural surroundings.

A protected cove from the wind and the crowds

With about 250 meters of fine and white sand, the beach extends between pines and rock formations. The calm and turquoise sea is one of the biggest attractions, especially for those looking for a place where they can swim with tranquility.

Around, there are trails that connect Areacova to other nearby beaches, such as Menduiña or Francón. A small bathing script is possible without major travel.

Portuguese are already beginning to arrive, but in a small number

Although he remains outside the traditional tourist itineraries, Areacova has received more and more visitors from Portugal. The phenomenon has accentuated in the last summers, long through social networks and the “mouth to mouth”.

According to the region of Ría de Alden is described as one of the last strongholds of tranquility on the Galician coast, highlighting small -scale beaches, such as Areacova, where tourism has not yet overlapped the landscape.
