How was the test
The sending of the messages occurred with 1 minute interval between the alerts. One of the notifications displayed said: “Extreme alert – Civil Defense: Demonstration alert of the new emergency alert system in the state. For more information, consult the Civil Defense website.”

- Paraíba – João Pessoa, Alagoa Nova, Itatuba and Coremas;
- Pernambuco – Recife, Jaboatão dos Guararapes, Caruaru and Ipojuca;
- Piauí – Teresina, Urucuí, Picos and Esperantina;
- Rio Grande do Norte – Christmas, Parnamirim, São Gonçalo do Amarante and Extremoz;
- Sergipe – Aracaju, Barra dos Coqueiros, Estancia and Lizard.
According to the federal government, the goal is to expand the ability to respond to natural disasters such as floods, landslides and storms. National Civil Defense technicians follow the implementation of the system in the regions, with the support of state civil defenses.
