Before the ball rolls this Saturday (14), the lawn of Hard Rock Stadium in Miami (Florida), received the opening ceremony of the FIFA Club World Cup, an “exciting and unforgettable trip” celebrating the Union, according to the top body of football.
Under the theme “A New Age begins”, the party produced by Balich Wonder Studio had percussionists, dancers, musicians and a choir of 30 people in a presentation by Latin rhythms and lit by fireworks.
Vikina and Richaelio, two young Florida musicians, sang about how “football unites the world,” although the United States has a crisis of immigration, with federal police forces chasing regular and irregular migrants.
The Rappers French Montana and Swae Lee also performed their hit “UnforgetTable” hit.
Videos honored the fans of the 32 participating clubs and football fans from around the world, as well as highlighting the Club Cup trophy tour of the 11 host cities in the United States.
At the end, 32 students from Miami-Dead College, each representing one of the clubs in the tournament, entered the field and put their team’s coat of arms in the FIFA emblem, representing “global union and competition,” according to the entity.
The FIFA Club World Cup will have 63 matches until July 13. In the early stages, eight groups with four teams each – the two best of each key advance to the round of 16. Four teams represent Brazil: Palmeiras, Botafogo, Flamengo and Fluminense.
