Sobótka falls on June 21 in many cities, games are organized to remind of Slavic traditions – and there are plenty of them. Of course, some rituals can be carried out on our garden – even light a bonfire and throw wreaths into it, it will also be useful to another ritual.
One of the most popular rituals during the night of Kupała are braiding wreaths and jumping through the fire. It is the bonfire that will be useful to us during a simple ritual fortunately. According to tradition, two elements are worshiped on this day – fire and water, the most rituals are associated with them. In the past, many bonfires were lit, through which the young were to jump in pairs, now we can also meet this tradition. Fire wreaths were also thrown into the fire.
