A, Kamilla Covas, had a turnaround in her life. For five years (2008 to 2013), she worked in the ballet of the extinct “Domingão do Faustão” program at Globo. But after leaving the stage, he saw his life take a very different course, with no relation to the artistic environment.
Kamilla left the show after getting pregnant, a sudden change that led her to rethink her professional career. Determined to start over, she left the television and started a new journey in the health area, becoming a dental surgeon in São Paulo. In an exclusive interview with portal LeodiasKamilla, today mother and performed in another profession, shared details of her career and reflected on the transformations in her life since 2013.

Career transition
For her, the transition from stages to the current profession was challenging. “It was a transition full of meanings and challenging. The artistic career taught me a lot about expression and sensitivity, something I take with me to today in dentistry. Leaving the stage was not easy, but besides the dream of living of art, I always had the desire to act in health, hospital, taking care of people and helping to transform lives and self -esteem through beauty, welcoming and care.
In his childhood, Kamilla said he suffered bullying and said he knew how low self -esteem can affect a person. “I didn’t stop being an artist, because harmonizing a face is an art,” he said.
Upon returning to college, she had to divide herself between maternity, studies and work. And he had to give up being with his 2 -year -old daughter at the time. “There were many moments when I had to give up being with her to dedicate myself to studies […]. It was a very pulled phase of many renunciations, but nothing in life is easy, right? We just need to choose which difficult we are willing to face, ”he reflected.
His life has completely changed with his daughter’s arrival. “My great key turn was precisely the birth of my daughter. It was for her, and for me, that I had the courage to run after another dream that was always stored inside me: to enter the health area and turn lives with purpose and care.”
Obstacles
During his studies, Kamilla said he had obstacles, but did not give up. “When we enter college, we don’t know anything, it’s all new. And for those who don’t know, dentist not studying just tooth, we dive deep into head and neck anatomy, pharmacology, anesthesiology, and many other areas.”
“I was always very dedicated and I still follow this thirst to learn. Because, in health, studies never stop, and I do not either,” he said.
She also recalled from the phase she had financial problems. “There were phases where I had to choose between buying something for me, for her, or buying the materials of college, which are many, with huge lists every semester. I went through real perrengues, especially in one of the most difficult years financially, just when I was studying. But I see this as another proof of overcoming, like so many others of my life. Faustão, ”he recalled.
“I always thought: if it’s been difficult, it’s because up front is a good harvest waiting for me. And said and done. Each renunciation became strength. Each perrengue became history,” he said, proud.
She also said she suffered a lot from the loss of her father, a year before graduating from college. He always supported her. “I felt my strength was ending. I asked God a lot to let me fall […]”, These.
