Montreal – As in the previous year, the pole position for the Grand Prix of Canada went to Mercedes -Pilot George Russell. The Briton curved the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in Montreal on Saturday with medium tires in 1: 10.899 minutes. He thus referred Formula 1 world champion Max Verstappen to the Red Bull and the World Cup leading Oscar Piatri in the McLaren. For Russell it was the sixth pole position in his career.
