Facing grilled salad It is colorful, full of taste and very filling – it is a perfect complement, every summer outdoor meeting. It goes perfectly with grilled meat, vegetables or cheese. The expressive mustard adds her character, while the sweetness of apple adds notes of sweets. Cucumbers in a duet with red onion and corn give crunchy, while fresh dill refreshes. This dish is not only a delicious addition, but also a real table decoration – it looks like a real fried egg. If you are looking for a salad that will conquer your hearts and palate, don’t look any further.
To prepare this recipe, you will need:
- ½ head of Chinese cabbage,
- 500 g of potatoes,
- 200 g of canned cucumbers,
- 200 g majonezu,
- 100 g canned corn,
- 4 eggs,
- 1 red onion,
- 1 small apple,
- 4 tablespoons of mustard,
- 2 tablespoons of fresh dill,
- ½ teaspoon salt,
- ½ teaspoon of black pepper.
Cook the potatoes until tender in salted water. Strain, cool and cut them into small cubes. Finely chop the onion together with canned cucumbers and apple. Add them to potatoes.
Hardly cook the eggs. Put a few slices for decoration and chop the rest and add to the other ingredients. Drain the corn from the pickle and put 2 tablespoons for decoration.
Add 4 tablespoons of mayonnaise, mustard, salt, pepper and finely chopped dill to the salad.
Take the top leaves of Chinese cabbage. Wash them and put the bottom and sides of the salad bowl or cake tin with them. Put the previously prepared salad. Align.
Brush the whole top with the remaining mayonnaise. Spread the corn at the edges, put slices of eggs in the middle. Put the grill salad in the fridge for at least an hour. Serve cold.
