Summer comes with a solstice. It is in June that the magical day, the longest in the year. The time of exuberant budding and growth turns into flowering and maturation. How to give the festive garden of the June garden?

Bird bath

Birds need not only extinguish thirst, but also to bathe and clean the feathers. The bowl on the ground is not very suitable, especially if a cat moves in the garden. Give them safe and comfortable watering. It should take the form of a shallow bowl with roughened walls so that the birds do not slip legs. All they need is a few centimeters of water – they crouch during the bath, rinse the wings and tail and bother it all over the body. On the contrary, deep water is treacherous. Elegant high -leg nouches can be stone, ceramic, metal and plastic. Graceful and safe are also hanging bowls, which you place on a branch under the crown of a basaty tree. Think of easy cleaning and changing water. Napajedla will easily become a decoration of the garden, and what only when the guests are poured. Looking at the sailing birds will make you laugh and warm you into the soul.

A little different sage

Sage Muscatova (Salvia sclarea) It comes from the south of Europe.
In our country it is grown as a two -year -old or short -lived perennial. It grows over a meter of height, richly branches and is decorated with large, white or pink bracts. It is truly an unmistakable decoration of the garden, and it also smells beautiful and pleases all pollinators. You can grow it from seeds or buy seedlings, still willing to multiply by self -sneer. She loves the sun and permeable, rich soil on calcium. Frost tolerates, but not wet in winter. The aroma of this sage is pleasant and captivating, so it has always been used in the production of perfumes and cosmetics. At home you can also use it to smell desserts, lemonades, with edible “flowers” to decorate a variety of dishes. After drying, it is suitable for the preparation of the fragrant mix-pourri. After cutting, it can bloom repeatedly at the end of the summer.
