Who is Yago Dora?
Yago Dora, whose full name is Yago Abbas Dorahe is a Brazilian professional surfer born in Curitiba on May 18, 1996, but based in Florianópolis since he was 4 years old.
He began surfing at age 11, a little later than most athletes, but evolved fast thanks to his father’s technical support, Leandro Dora, former pro and renowned coach.
He joined the Challenger Series (QS) circuit with sponsorships since he was 15 and secured his place at Championship Tour (CT) in 2018, after a remarkable performance in QS 2017.
In 2025, it occupies the 2nd position in the WSL ranking and maintains an average of strong waves with high heat scores. YAGRE DORA It is currently one of the big names of Brazilian surfing in the world circuit, recognized for the bold style, competitive consistency and bets towards the title of CT.
