Frankfurt am Main – A doctor in Germany has been sentenced to life imprisonment for torture and war crimes in his Syrian homeland. At the same time, the Higher Regional Court in Frankfurt am Main determined the special severity of the guilt on Monday, which as well as excluding an early release from prison after 15 years in practice. For the 40-year-old defendant, accommodation was imposed in preventive detention.
