The business group led by the children of the president, announced on Monday (16) the creation of a new telephone service called Trump Mobile, which in the future will include its own terminal, as it consolidates the expansion of family business in the telecommunications sector.
Eric and Donald Trump Jr. introduced Trump Mobile as “a new transformative mobile phone service, designed to offer world -class connectivity and unparalleled value” to “the working people” from the US, according to a Trump organization statement. The new offer will open with Plan 47 for a value of $ 47.45, in an apparent reference to the two New York terms, elected as the 45th and 47th US President.
The new service website also announces the future launch of T1, “a golden and elegant smartphone” designed and manufactured in the US, priced at $ 499 and Android operating system. “We are especially proud to offer free long distance calls to our military and their families, because those who are serving abroad should always be able to be connected with their loved ones at home,” said Donald Jr., the president’s firstborn.
The product package, he said, “will allow people to access telemedicine services on their phones for a fixed monthly fee, road assistance on their cars and unlimited text messages to 100 countries worldwide.”
Trump’s new venture means a new turn in the business of President Trump’s children, who have so far focused on real estate and cryptocurrency businesses. “Much of what we did focused on technology for people with limited access, whether cryptocurrencies or anything else, but one of the sectors in which we realized mediocre performance was in the mobile sector,” said Donald Jr. during the event to announce the new service.
