It is scheduled for 3:30 pm this Monday (16), in the Irajá Cemetery, in the North Zone of Rio de Janeiro, the burial of Marcelle Julia Araújo da Silva, 18. The young woman was found dead last Saturday (14), in a residence in the community Beira Rio, Pavuna.
The main suspect is the one, which is on the run. He is investigated by the Capital Homicide Police Station (DHC) for the crime of femicide.
According to investigators, Marcelle’s body was located wrapped in a blue canvas within a property owned by the suspect, which was vacated by renovation. The corpse showed signs of mutilation caused by pit bull dogs that were on site. She had been missing since dawn on Thursday (12), when she was last seen.
Images obtained by the police show the young woman bicycle at the suspect’s house and, hours later, he leaving the scene with a cart covered with a blue canvas – similar to the one found involving the body. Zhaohu Qiu’s temporary arrest was decreed on Saturday (14) by the judiciary of the Capital District.
Marcelle was the daughter of the middle of three brothers. In conversation with CNNthe young woman’s mother, Adriana Araújo, revealed that she was dear to everyone. “She knew how to talk to people, she was sweet, sweet,” he said, thrilled.
Also according to family members, Xau was known to his family for about five years and had been regularly attended. Marcelle even helped him sometimes in the Yakisoba trailer, in which he owns Jardim América Square. Relatives claim that they have never suspected any suspicious behavior from him.
Death caused great commotion among family, friends and residents of the region. On social networks, several tributes were paid to the young woman, accompanied by the hashtag #Justiceparmcelle, charging answers from the authorities.
