The Covilhã Urban Art Festival has launched a challenge to the community: building a giant rug to promote equality and empathy. “We are all the other” is the name of the initiative in which each one works for a common goal.
The group joins 10 women at the Covilhã Activity Center, but represents hundreds who have committed a few square to build a giant sparkling rug with textile waste.
Community action is part of this year’s edition of. The organization provides the necessary material for those who want to participate in the initiative that already brings together over 300 squares.
