Paulo Corrêa Jr. (PSD) presented a bill this Thursday (12) to declare the “Hot Horker” sandwich as the State of the State of, shows the Official Gazette.
“The present project aims to value and preserve one of the most traditional elements of the gastronomic culture of Pariquera-Açu, widely appreciated by the population and visitors: the hot hole-sandwich prepared with french bread and braised ground beef, with spices and side dishes that translate the characteristic and affective flavor of popular cuisine of the municipality,” he justifies.
The deputy argues that the delicacy became part of the daily life and affective memory of residents and that official recognition would help strengthen cultural identity and encourage gastronomic tourism of the Vale do Ribeira region.
