The crisis of trust is still open in the government coalition. The second vice president, Yolanda Díaz, has appeared late in the afternoon after her meeting with the president in La Moncloa, to give an account of the first meeting between the two from the outbreak of the former number three socialist, in the Koldo case. The leader of the Government has labeled “insufficient” the explanations of Pedro Sánchez and has demanded that the PSOE end the aforements and launch a reform of the Public Sector Contracting Law to prevent companies convicted of corruption can qualify again to an adjudication in administrations.
The meeting between the two leaders, who requested the vice president herself due to the lack of explanations of the first days, has resulted in without other commitment than the call of the monitoring table of the coalition pact, even without date, in which they foresee the reforms that the minority partner of the Government claims: an impulse of the legislature in terms of democratic regeneration and also of progress of the social agenda. Some of the measures demanded since last week have to do with the house, which has become a headache for citizens for its high price, and others are included in the Government Agreement of 2023, such as the creation of a universal benefit by parenting or the remuneration of conciliation permits, guarded in a drawer since then. This inaction has generated a certain frustration in adding, but the reality is that the Executive lacks a majority of lefts in Congress to approve their proposals and parties such as Junts or Podemos – in opposite directions – have shown deep differences with the coalition.
This morning, the organization directed by Ione Belarra staged again the distancing with the government by announcing that it will not go to the contact round raised by Sánchez to redirect relations with its parliamentary partners. Party sources understand that it is only an operation of “face washing” of a PSOE affected by corruption and ensure that after the last revelations it is “very complicated or practically impossible” to continue negotiating with the Executive measures in Congress, which threatens to leave the legislature at a dead point.
Díaz, who has gathered at noon with the deputy of Podemos Noemí Santana and other parties of the mixed group to try to move forward the reduction of day, has emphasized to highlight their differences with the PSOE. “Corruption is not inevitable, enough of cynicism,” he asked. “Not everyone is the same. I am a clean person. The five ministers [de Sumar] They are clean. The political space is clean, ”he said.
