The Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked two Russian plants involved in the production of explosives for the Russian army, the General Staff of the Ukraine Army reported.
“As part of the reduction of enemy’s capabilities to manufacture explosives and ammunition, the Ukraine Armed Forces unmanned forces and other defense forces attacked important objects of the military-industrial complex of the Russian aggressor,” revealed his statement on Saturday morning.
In particular, the Plant of the NKK corporation was attacked in Novokuibishev, in the Samara region, Russian Federation, which caused explosions and a fire. The plant is a leading component producer for the explosives used by the Russian army, according to the statement.
The Novokuibishev Catalyst Plant produces catalysts that are crucial for the operation of Russia’s oil refineries and for the production of aviation fuel, diesel used by armored combat and fuel vehicles for rockets, also wrote in Telegram Colonel Andri Kovalenko, of the center to fight against the misinformation of the National Security Council and Ukraine Defense Council.
The Nevinnomissk plant, in the Stávropol region of the Russian Federation, a key producer of basic components for explosives, ammunition and rocket fuel, was also attacked, according to the Ukrainian army. Although a series of explosions and a fire in the area were reported, the impact of the attack is being clarified, according to the statement.
