The Israeli army said on Monday that attacked command centers in Tehran of the QDS forces, the arm of Iranian revolutionary guard (IRGC) responsible for abroad operations.
The Israeli Air Force “has hit command centers belonging to the QDS (…) forces and the Iranian army, with precise instruction of intelligence direction,” the Israeli military said in a statement.

The QDS forces are a powerful unity within the Iranian revolutionary guard, formed during the Iraqi War War in the 1980s as a special unit of intelligence. It is credited with assuming leadership role in Iran’s relations with armed groups in Afghanistan, Iraq, Lebanon, Syria and Gaza Strip, including Hezbollah and Hamas.
IRGC Commander Hossein Salami was killed in the initial attacks of Israel to Iran on Friday. Since then, he has been replaced by General Ahmed Vahidi.
