Magda Gessler foam cake does not require long baking time, because its bottom is made of biscuits, nuts and butter. In turn, foam is a combination of coconut cream and strawberries. The whole is complemented by a refreshing note of lime.
What ingredients do we need to make foam cake with strawberries? Here is the list:
- 1 kg of strawberries;
- 500 ml coconut cream;
- 200 g of whole grains;
- 100 g of walnuts;
- 100 g of soft butter;
- 1 cup of fine sugar;
- 2 teaspoons of gelatin;
- Lime juice and skin.
To make a foam cake with strawberries, first prepare its bottom. To do this, fry the nuts in the pan until they become slightly browned. Then chop them finely. Crumble biscuits, mix with butter and nuts.
The bottom of the cake tin with a diameter of 24 cm, previously lined with baking paper and bake it for 10-12 minutes at 180 degrees. Then remove from the oven and set aside to cool.
In the next step, make the foam: mix coconut cream with sugar and add juice to it and grated skin from scalded lime. In 1/2 cup of boiling water, dissolve gelatin and add it to the cream mass, mixing the whole briefly.
Pour half the foam into a cooled bottom. Then put on it washed, dried, deprived of stalks and cut in half strawberries. Pour them on the remaining cream mass.
Finally, you can decorate the foam cake with a few strawberries, coconut flakes and fresh mint leaves. Put the prepared dessert in the fridge for a minimum of 2 hours.
