Netanyahu – a hazard in the dead end

“Israel is in the process of destroying itself. (…) I’m afraid that Israel will become an authoritarian, religious, military state.” This is how the conclusion of the well -known Israeli historian and genocide researcher Omer Bartov sounds in a long interview with the Time, recorded before the “preventive attack” on Iran. The 71-year-old historian, former army officer and author of numerous works about the Holocaust teaches at the US Brown University in Providence and has been one of the sharpest critics of the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for years. He was because of an earlier one Spiegel-Interviews by Israeli ambassador in Germany insulted as “self -hatred of Israeli”.
