Suspected of killing American deputy is captured in the USA

The two -day human hunt ended on Sunday with the arrest of Vance Boelter, 57, suspected of killing American Democrat, Melissa Hortman and her husband while passing a police officer.

Boelter reportedly killed Hortman, the main Democratic deputy in the Minnesota State Chamber, and her husband, Mark Hortman, at the couple’s residence at dawn on Saturday (14) – a crime that Governor Tim Walz characterized as a “murder with political motivation.”

Authorities said Boelter also shot and injured another democratic politician, state senator John Hoffman, and his wife, Yvette, also at home, a few kilometers away from the scene of the murder.

Boelter has calls with evangelical ministries and claimed to be a security expert with experience in the Gaza and Africa range, according to online publications and public records analyzed by Reuters news agency.

The suspect received two accusations of second degree homicide and two of attempted second degree murder, according to the criminal complaint.

Three of these accusations are punishable by prison sentences of up to 40 years, according to the complaint, revealed on Sunday (15).

The man was passing a policeman during the gunfire, wearing a police uniform and driving a Ford SUV with police headlights, according to the criminal complaint of Hennepin County.

Boelter fled on Saturday morning (14), when police approached him at the Hortman House in Brooklyn Park, officials reported residents to stay home for their own security and triggered the largest hunt in the state.

When police searched the Boelter SUV after the shootings, he discovered three AK-47 assault rifles, a 9 mm pistol and a list of other civil servants, including addresses, according to the criminal complaint.
